West Ryde Hui Zhi Chinese School (WRHZCS) is a non-profit community language school guided by both the:

  • Community Language Schools Program, Department of Education, NSW (CLSP DoE NSW).

  • Hunter Association of Community Language Schools (ACLS)

We operate in two locations:

  • West Ryde Public School

    6 Endeavour St, West Ryde 2114 NSW

    All classes held in Building F

    Monday Classes 3:30 pm-5:30 pm (School Term)

    • Classes are divided by Chinese learning levels

    Wednesday Classes 3:30 pm-5:30 pm (School Term)

    • Kindergarten Class

    • Extension Class

      The extension class further develops students’ foundational Chinese literacy by enhancing reading, speaking, and early writing skills for confident communication.

  • Pennant Hills Community Centre

    Tuesday Class 3:40 pm-5:40 pm (School Term)


We teach Chinese (Mandarin), which is Putong Hua (普通话), in Simplified Chinese (简体中文) and Hanyu Pin Yin (汉语拼音).


All school-aged students (K-Y12) are welcome regardless of family language background.
